NAHARLAGUN, Jul 11: Philanthropist and social leader Tilling Dolley passed away today while undergoing treatment at a hospital in New Delhi after a brief illness.
Dolley’s demise has been deeply mourned by the Tanw Supuñ Dukuñ (TSD).
In a condolence message, the organisation said: “Tanw Supuñ Dukuñ (TSD) deeply mourns the untimely demise of Lt. Tilling Dolley, son of Lt. Tilling Chilyang of Hong village, Ziro, Lower Subansiri district, who breathed his last on July 11, 2022 in RG Cancer Institute, New Delhi after brief illness.”
“His death has caused a deep vacuum in the society and shall be very difficult to fill by anyone,” it stated.
Informing that Tilling Dolley was a BVSc, TSD said he was a “great philanthropist, social leader and first-generation successful entrepreneur of the State.” TSD said he was a “great philanthropist, social leader and first-generation successful entrepreneur of the State.”
He served the society in various capacities including Anchal Chairperson, Zilla Parishad Member and held key posts in various social organizations. He also served as the district president of the BJP.
“He was a man of fine and humble personality having multifaceted personality, who contributed immensely in the social and political fields for development of the State. He is survived by his wife and 6 children,” the statement issued by Dr. Nani Tamang Jose, spokesperson, Tanw Supuñ Dukuñ, said.
“We deeply mourn and condole his untimely demise with sincere prayers to Almighty God to bestow his departed soul to rest in peace, and give enough courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss,” TSD further said in its condolence message.
