ITANAGAR, DEC 29 : A promising youth, Geto Nidak son of Talar Nidak (an army retired personnel) of Upper Subansiri died in a tragic road accident in Kamle district. Former Home Minister Daklo Nidak and several others paid deep condolences on the tragic accident.
The Kamle SP Taru Gusar informed that a road accident was reported at around 8 AM at Repare village between Tamin-Boa Simla. The police team inspected the spot and found a red car bearing registration no- AR 02 6520 (Maruti Swift) met with an accident and the person driving the vehicle died on spot. The youth has been identified as Geto Nidak, son of Talar Nidak, aged around 29 years. He said.
Inquiries were done and the body was retrieved from the spot. After conducting all formalities the body has been handed over to the family members for conducting last rites at native village Nidak, Gusar circle PO& PS Dumporijo, Upper Subansiri district. The SP added.
The cause of investigation is yet to be ascertained however it seems that may be due to speed and could not negotiate the turning or whatever may be known later. He further said.
The former Home Minister Daklo Nidak in a message has condoled the untimely demise of educated youth in a road accident in Kamle district.
In a message, the former Home Minister said that Late Geto Nidak was a sincere and hardworking educated youth of the village. In the last APPSC examination he cleared the written examination and on Thursday morning when he was on his way to Daporijo meet with a fatal accident in Kamle district and lost his life. He said.
The sudden demise of Geto is an irreparable loss to the family and Tamin society and district as a whole.
He expresses his sincere condolences to the bereaved family and pray for eternal peace of departed souls in heavenly abode and at the same time he also prays to give enough strength to the bereaved family members.
It is to mention that Late Geto was in service with wife and a minor son.
