Rijiju, Tuki and Prof Showren attended the inaugural function of 7th Nyishi youth convention

ITANAGAR, DEC 16 : Union Minister for Earth Sciences and Arunachal West Member of Parliament Kiren Rijiju, former Chief Minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki, Nyishi Elite society (NES) President  Prof. Tana Showren and host of dignitaries, students & youths leaders and others attended the 7th Nyishi youth convention inaugural ceremony at Sagalee in Papum Pare district.

The convention which began on Friday and inaugurated on December 16th will continue and the concluding function will held on December 19 with four days porgramme. Several activities will be held during the period which include the cultural competition, traditional activities, games and porting activities, literary activities, discussion on various issued related to students, youths and others will also be held. The 7th Nyishi youth convention is being organised by the team of students leaders led by All Nyishi students union (ANSU( president Nabam Dodum, General secretary Gora Rikam Bhai and others. more than 1300 delegates are attending the convention.  

“ The Miss Nyishi contest is also organised as the special part of the 7th convention”. “Indian playback singer Mohit Chauhan performances is is yet another special attraction of the convention at Sagalee has added a huge turnout on the inaugural cultural night”.    

Delegates of 17 branch students union (BSU) spread across 7 district are taking part. 

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the union minister Kiren Rijiju said that the theme infinity horizon itself says that the boundary has no horizon and everyone present may discuses important issues which may lead for a better development of state and welfare of people. He said.

“ we have to plan a clear vision for development of state and welfare of people”. He said.

There has been major change in the development sector but still lots to be done and the Nyishi tribe who has began the journey need to be broaden its horizon and all the tribes who are also in the same way has to join the journey for unity, integrity, community harmony and development of state. He said.

He explains on various activities undertaken by Earth science ministry and technology intervention for its development and benefits also reached to state and people.

The youths of state have a huge potential and the potential need to be utilized in positive way and hope that a positive thinking and resolution may come up from the convention. He emphasis discipline so as to achieve success in life and appeal the gathering to maintain discipline with hard labour for future success among the youths. Said Rijiju.

He appeal the youths who are our future to respect the elders, parents and not to forget the cultural heritage and carry forward the legacy of our forefather and join hands for a new Arunachal Pradesh. He emphasis the youths to contribute for the welfare of society. The union minister added.

He requested the ANSU for  a positive resolution and also share a copy of the same and appeal the gather for a better future.  

NES President Prof Showren shared his thought and deliberation to the gathering and suggested for documentation.  He hope for a collative effort for a greater building of our society and state as well.

Invited guest, former ANSU leaders, public leader, social workers, youth and public leaders and general public were also present on the inaugural ceremony.
