NAHARLAGUN, APRIL 17: Reportedly a running Maruti Gypsy caught fire on National Highway-415 in wee hours on Sunday in Papu nallah area of Naharlagun township of capital complex, no causality and injury has been reported in the in the incident.
Naharlagun, SDPO Dekio Gumja inform that as reported at Papu hill Police station of capital complex that “ today at around 0200hrs while Gyamar Tata S/o of Gyamar Nuchung 21Yrs of Doimukh along with his friend Tek Bd Chetry Ganesh were going in Maruti Gypsy B/no. NL-07CB-4668 from Doimukh to Misamari Halem. At 2KM Papu Nallah area on NH-415 the said Gypsy got burnt down due to battery short circuit. Some essential commodities/ documents burnt”. He said.
“The fire tender arrived on the spot but could save the two tires of vehicles:. There is no causality and any injury reported in the incident. Said SDPO Gumja.
A FIR has been received from Gyamar Tata and investigation is being done to ascertain the exact cause of the fire accident. SDPO further said.
