ITANAGAR, JAN 09 : Several senior leaders, public leaders including the former Home Minister on Tuesday has joined the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in presence of BJP state leadership including state President Biyuram Wahge and others.
The BJP party headquarter located at Vivek VIhar in city has witnessed a huge gathering who come to witness the joining ceremony of several social workers, public leaders, bureaucrat, former law makers and others. since the simultaneous election is nearing and hardly three to four months remain several aspiring candidates and leaders began to move to their desired political party to join get party ticket and also to fulfill their desire to become an elected leaders as MLA to serve their respective public of the respective assembly constituency.
The prominent among those who joined the BJP on Tuesday are the former Home Minister Daklo Nidak, former MLA Dikto Yekar, former Upper Subansiri ZPC Togom Tamin, public leader from Talhia Rudham Sindhu, Former Chief Engineer Lupalum Kri and former Power Executive engineer Ajay Murtem of Raga assembly constituency.
The state BJP President and Pakkekessang MLA Biyuram Wahge has admitted all of them to the party fold and ask them to work for strengthening of the party at grassroots level.
Vice president and Joining committee Chairman Tarh Tarak, vice President Yalam Taga Borang, general secretary and Namsai MLA C Z Namchoom, general secretary Tadar Niglar, general secretary Nalong Mize, organization secretary Anant Narayan Mishra, spokesperson Techi Nicha among other senior party leaders were present during the joining programme.
However while taken to media the dignitaries who joined the saffron brigade are willing to contest the upcomming assembly election if the party ticket are given to them. Their willingness to contest election are clearly seen but they told that if the party ask to contest they are ready and even they are ready to abide by the party order and will work as a karyakartas.
