Tage Rita nominated for US Dept of State Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership, CM congratulates

NAHARLAGUN, May 06: A renowned entrepreneur of Arunachal Pradesh and the founder of Naara Aaba, Tage Rita has been nominated for the U.S. Department of State Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has congratulated the entrepreneur for the achievement.

“Sweet success! Congrats Tage Rita, founder of @Naara_aaba, on being nominated for US Dept of State Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership. Rita has done exemplary work of promoting wine made out of exotic fruits of Arunachal Pradesh & creating sustainable livelihood for locals,” Chief Minister Khandu tweeted today.

While sharing the tweet of the Chief Minister, the Minister for Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary, Dairy Development & Fisheries, Er. Tage Taki has also congratulated the entrepreneur.

“Congratulations Tage Rita….,” Minister Taki wrote on his Twitter handle.

In march this year, Tage Rita was conferred with Nari Shakti award on the occasion of the International Women’s Day.

Entrepreneur Tage Rita produces ‘Naara Aalba’, India’s first organic kiwi wine, with an annual capacity of approximately 60,000 litres and a turnover of Rs 4.5 crore.

An engineer by qualification, she left her job to become an entrepreneur.

She founded ‘Lambu Subu Food and Beverages’, Naara-Aaba ‘wine’ in 2016 in Lower Subansiri district.

Earlier, she was honoured with the United Nations Women Transforming India Award.
