Tedir appeal the students community to stay away from drug and maintain physical fitness

ITANAGAR, The Minister Education and Cultural Affairs Taba Tedir has appeal the students community to stay away from drug and maintain the physical fitness and remain fit and fine with a healthy body and sound mind. 

Tedir was addressing a prize distribution function of state level marathon race in the city on theme “run for unity”, first ever school state level open Marathon has been organized by the directorate of school education, here today which was started from Government higher secondary school Kankar nallah naharlagun and finished at office premises of Director of secondary education Itanagar.   

Minister Tedir said that when you are physically fit then you will also mentally fit and you can do any thing . He also informed the students about state government sports policy and opportunities of sports persons. 

Education Minister Taba Tedir, adviced the students to stay united he also highlighted the importance of “unity”  and said that students are the future of state so the untidily works for developments of state by maintaining the diversity of dialects, cultural and tradition of the state. study well and become professional to serve the state in better way.    

Education Commissioner Niharika Rai, said that Arunachal Pradesh has rich in tradition and culture  so she advice the student not to forget their own dialects , tradition and culture because this are your identities while attending as guest of honour in program .

She also advice the student to study hard by keep their physically and mentally fit and also do unified works  for the betterments of family or societies. Student should economically self independent and not to depend other and also advice the student respect parents and their elders . 

Latter on Minister Tedir handed over prize money of Rs 50000/ first prize , Rs 30000/  and Rs 20000/ second and third prize to both boys and girls along with certificates to all the winner.       

Agalumso Tawsik from Government secondary school , Telluliang Tezu , own first, Harang Cheri , Government Higher Secondary school, Seppa, and Tapo Darba GHSS Daporijo  win the second and third position respectively in boys category and  Nedi Ngi from Government secondary school Hawai, Anjow district, Gida Amji Kiogi, GHSS polo colony Naharlagun and Tadar Yassum GHSS Polo Colony Naharlagun win the first, second and third position respectively in girls category in first ever school state level open Marathon 2021.  From 26 districts all total 171 student in both boys and Girls were participated in run.
