ITANAGAR, FEB 12 ; Traffic awareness was organized by NGO ‘ One Arunachal” in the city to created mass awareness on road safety and measures to be adopted and to follow rules and regulation while driving vehicle on roads.
The NGO One Arunachal which has been engaged in several social welfare activities and other activities where youths are being involved for several years in various parts of state. The NGO will continue to do such social and society related activities. Informed the One Arunachal Chief promoter Joram Tat.
It gives me lots of pain to know that most of the death by two wheelers are youths. If youths die in such way in road accidents so it is a matter of great concern for whole of society. The main reason of such fatal deaths are not wearing of helmet, drink and drive, not following of traffic rules. He said.
Today awareness porgramme has been organsied by One Arunachal in collaboration with Arunachal super dancer with a theme “ to encourage the women empowerment”. The awareness drive was quite good as the Capital Traffic Dy SP Paul Jerang and his team are also here and they area also supporting the help us to educate the people as how we can remain safe and secure and life happily by following traffic rules. He said.
Today we are distributing helmets among the youths spiecally to make them aware of their safety so that they live long and serve the community, society and state and become part of nation development. Added Joram Tat, Lead Promoter of One Arunachal.
International Faison designer Yana Ngoba Chakpu, Donyi Polo Government college Kamki, General secretary Karpi Lollen, Government model college Basar, generals secretary Chimla Gadi, Jawahar lal Nehru government college, Pasighat Generals secretary Lusi Jamoh join the awareness campaign and speaks on safety measures need to live safe. The special invitees also motivated the vehicle riders specially the two wheelers to stay fit and fine and do not mix drinking of alcohol and driving, use helmet all the time while riding on road, use dipper at night, do not use mobile while driving.
Several helmets were distributed on the occasion to motivate the two wheelers riders to use helmet all the time as a safety measures and also to save money as fine to the traffic police often.
