ITANAGAR, NOV 1 : The Capital police on Tuesday given away warm sendoff to Itanagar Traffic OC KB Chetry who retired after 38 years of dedicated services to the people of state in various parts.
The officers and officials of capital police and capital traffic police organized farewell programme at Itanagar Police station on Tuesday and City SP Office on Monday and thanks Chetry for his dedicated service to the people of state in various places sincerely with devotion and full satisfaction of the superiors.
City SP Jimmy Chiram attending the ceremony inform that the sincere and hard work put forward by Chetry as a Traffic OC in traffic management will always remembered. His sincere and dedicated service toward his duty has been carried forward as a responsibility and it would be an inspiration for the young officers who will follow the sincerity and hard work. “ I pray almighty for good health and spirit even of his post retired life”. Said SP.
The City SP appeal the young and newly posted officer in capital to remain sincere and dedicated toward the duty and assignment with satisfaction of superior. He further said that if all section of society extend helping hand the Capital complex would be a beautiful and peaceful place to live. Added Chiram.
SDPO Kamdam Sikom shared his experiences and appeal one and all to work with a commitment to serve the state but at the same time one should also understand the nature of work and serve the humanity for a better life.
Among other Newly posted Traffic OC, Dy SP (HQ), Officer incharge and senior police officer from Naharlagun, Papuhill, Niti Vihar, Itanagar, Chimpu and other were present on the occasion.
ASI (WT) Nirjuli MD Nur Hussain also retired from his dedicated service on the occasion who was also felicitated on the occasion.
KB Chetry joined the Arunachal Pradesh police (APP) in 18.02.1985 as SI and worked at various places which include Tirap district, capital police, VIP security cell, Capital Traffic cell. He was Traffic OC from 2015 till date.
Inspector Chetry has received several medals, trophy, certificates appreciation letter and has been trained in several activities related to security, traffic and firing and was very popular among the denizens of capital complex.
KB Chetry was known for his simplicity and his politeness and handled traffic violation cases properly without and serious issue.
