Tuki chaired coordination meetings with stakeholders for strengthening the education scenario

ITANAGAR, MAY 27: Former chief minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki while attending a coordination meeting of stakeholders at Mini Secretariat at Sagalee has emphasized for development of education scenario of area, circle, district and state in proper way.

Tuki said that we should see that the schools having low enrolment are near to being merged with nearest functioning schools so that the students can avail the education. The rationalization of teachers is also needed for the hours as per tenure and requirement.  Tuki said.

He requested the DDSE to prepare the minutes of the meeting and send it to the higher authority so that he will take up the issue with the state government for sufficient support and cooperation for strengthening and improving the education system in rural areas of state.

While thanking all the officers and staff of various departments for tirelessly rendered services during the Covid-19 pandemic and appeal the teaching community to rededicate themselves for strengthening and improvement of education scenario of area and state.

Papum Pare DDSE Tana Tagu Tara in his address said that today’s meeting is to get to know the problems and issues of various schools of Sagalee and Mengo block of Sagalee assembly constituency. Almost all the issues like zero enrolment schools, rationalization of teachers, issues related to subjects teachers in Upper Primary and Secondary schools, adoption of schools by PRI or anyone who wishes to take up the education sector to  new heights. Revival of inter village schools with hostel facility. DDSE said.

The schools having low enrolment to be merged with nearby functioning residential functioning school so that the students of the said school can reach to the nearest area and avail the proper education. DDSE added.

Powerpoint presentations were given on almost all the schools of Sagalee assembly constituency by Block education officers.

All the Principal and Headmaster of various secondary schools and Upper Primary schools of the Sagalee assembly constituency shared their issues and problems and suggested and advised in the meeting.

Sagalee ADC Audil Toko, DPC, ISSE Tang Moromi also addressed the meeting.
