18th general conference of  AAPWU from Jan 12 to 15 underway at Dirang

DIRANG, JAN 13 : The 18th general conference of All Arunachal Pradesh workers union (AAPWU) from January 12 to 15 underway here at Lopon stadium, Dirang ADC headquarter in West Kameng to discuss various issues of workers community of state.

The conference witnessed varietal discussion which include AAPWU President Jalley Sonam, organising Chairman PD Jamchenpa, organising Secretary Dogra Sagro are moderating the conference which have discussing on various important issues related to workers are under consideration. More than five hundreds delegates from various parts of state are taking part in four day conference.

Speaking to media, AAPWU President Jalley Sonam said that the 18th general conference has witnessed various programmes in four days. Delegates from all 26 districts of state including capital complex and state executives are here to chosl out various issues of workers community of state.. He said.

Today on Friday discussion were held in which the heads of all district which include President and Secretary highlighted their issues and grievances of district unit are being held.

The major point of discussion was ALCs  proper implementation of Arunachal Pradesh building & Other construction workers welfare board (APB&OCWWB), Grade pay of workers community who are working for years and decades, providing of skill development of workers, dignity of workers, proper implementation of Labour Law and action against the executive members who do not follow the directives of central executive properly in the greater interest of workers community. He said.

The main function will be held on Saturday at the same venue wherein local MLA Phurpa Tsering, Thrizino-Buragoan MLA will be chief guest and guest of honour respectively and other elected lawmakers ,PRI leaders will take part.. The AAPWU Jalley Sonam added.

A resolution has been adopted taking views and suggestion and presentation  placed before the house on Friday during technical session by leaders of various district and central executive which may be placed to the dignitaries and state government for consideration. Sonam further said.
