ITANAGAR, Jun 17: Eight people were arrested by Itanagar Police for alleged assault and harassment to the employees of ‘Meat & Eat’ outlet on Wednesday.
All accused have been arrested in cases related to house trespass, threatening and injuries, said Officer In charge (OC) Phassang Simi.
Meanwhile, visiting the restaurant where the incident occurred, Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC), Mayor Tame Phassang assured to provide justice to the proprietor and victim.
Appealing both the party not to take law into their hand, he also said that IMC being a licensing authority for business community will resolve the issue amicably at the earliest.
Everyone whosoever living in the capital complex must take curtsy to make the town clean and green rather than indulge in unwanted activities, he added.
