Manoj Singh || ITANAGAR, JUNE 17 : The denizens of the capital complex have appealed to the capital district administration and Itanagar municipal corporation (IMC) to act upon the stray animals which always create traffic chaos and lots of accidents are also taking time and again. We may witness losing our near and dear one on these roads in the capital complex.
It is a matter of concern that the order from Capital administration and IMC are being issued but action are only for eyewash to the general public for a single day and the problem remain same and anyone can witness several domestic animals like cow, goat, pig, dozens of dog roaming freely on the national highway and even all the arterial roads and even mithun on some occasion and are detrimental to the road traffic accident in city and capital complex at large.
We have witnessed several road accidents by speedy vehicles on the National highway who could not control and stop their vehicle and met with an accident and got damaged to their vehicle and also received serious injury on some occasion and fatal on some occasion. The locals allege that the Capital allege that either the capital administration or the IMC clearly deal with the issue or in some days we may lose our near and dear one on the streets of capital due to the presence of these stray animals.
Whenever the denizens raise these issue either the capital administration or the municipal corporation leaders or officers will rise from deep slumber and act upon the stray animals and again after few days they forget the issue so it is better if the administration or the IMC constitute a separate committee or task force who will act against the stray animals from time to time.
If the issue is not taken care of, there is apprehension that we may lose some of our near or dear ones on the street of the capital complex due to road accidents only due to stray animals presence on capital streets on NH or arterial and bypass roads etc.
