DOLLUNGMUKH, Sept 10 : The team of All Arunachal Pradesh Labour Union (AAPLU) on Saturday visited Dollungmuckh and Gerkamukh in Kamle district and held several coordination meeting with stake holders including the officers of several construction company and agency including private sector and also interacted the workers community.
The team of AAPLU led by its President and other central executive body members visited the Dollungmukh unit office and have meeting with its Block and circle and Zonal leaders and discuses on various issue pertaining welfare of labour community working in various organized and unorganized sector in areas.
Several coordination and interaction meeting were held at several location including at Gerkamukh, Dullungmukh, Subansiri Lower HPD etc.
Speaking on the occasion, AAPLU president Dana Tadu said that ” Union and organisation are made to fight for right, help the needy and work for the welfare of its members and general public and needy” since the labour community in state are in need of several welfare measures and the organisation are to take care of all these issues. There are several unions, associations and organizations established with a motto but the first motto should be to help its members and humanity, to work for the welfare of society and development of area, district, state and nation. Tadu said.
We as a trade union leaders our foremost target to take care of the workers, laburers serving across the state, we also should see that their due benefits and facilities are being delivered to them by the authority. There are several benefits for the registered workers who are directly registered with the APB&OCWWB. He said.
A Registering Officer (RO) from board which is a body of the government which has been established for the workers, labourers from unorganized sector and pvt company which need to be registered. He said.
There are several provision and beneficial for the workers and everyone should avail the befits of the board.
I have already tried my best effort for formulate for the labour wage for skill and unskilled workers based on skill and seniority of the works being carried by the workers of concerned organisation and notification has already is there and hope various organisation fixed the wages of workers concerned keeping in view their skill and seniority. He said.
We should always seek help and support of all stake holders so that they can carry forward their daily work and maintain a livelihood.
He also urged upon the union leaders to maintain unity, integrity and dignity of labour. The AAPLU President added.
A memorandum was also submitted by the Dollungmukh block unit on the occasion for establishment of permanent office at Dollungmukh, proper implementation of EPF, proper minimum wage rate of government employees and private employees, implementation of special allowances which include DA VDA etc, implementation of yearly increment in wages.
