ABAVP team meet President of India, Mugli apprise Murmu for de-reservation of RF for tribal activities and development.  

ITANAGAR, AUGUST 25 : The team of Akhil bharatiya adiwasi vikas parishad (ABAVP) led by its president and former MP Sombjibhai Damor, Secretary Shankarlal Bodat and Joint secretary and former minister Talo Mugli meet the president of India Drupadi Murmu at Rastrapati Bhawan, New Delhi on Tuesday and discuses various issue of tribal culture, identity and its activities across the North East region and country as a whole.

Speaking from New Delhi, the former Minister Talo Mugli who represented the Arunachal Pradesh and as senior executive member Joint Secretary of ABAVP inform that “our team visited the Rastrapati bhawan on Tuesday late evening and meet the President of India  and congratulated her on behalf  of fifteen crores tribal population of the country and the Arunachal Pradesh as a whole”. “She has shown her deep interest in Arunachal Pradesh”. Mugli said.. 

“I being a senior tribal leader of Arunachal Pradesh and North East region have shared the views as  the State inhabited by indigenous tribal dependent on forest resources and almost all the activities are dependent on the natural resources which are mostly available in forest and naturally”. Said Mugli

“I have urged upon the president of India to look into the aspects of Rights of tribal people to Forest hence necessary to de reserve the forest for betterment of our people”. Said Mugli. 

“I do impress upon her and urged to create separate IAS cadre for Arunachal Pradesh as full-fledged State and highlighted the .need of separate cadre of IAS for better development of the frontier state” He said. 

Earlier, our team felicitated her and thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making her the President of India representing entire tribal society. Mugli added.

A memorandum was submitted on the occasion by the team for inclusion of new code no-7 for tribal indigenous religion in the 2021 census of India proposed 

Among other union Minister of state  for steel and rural development Faggan Singh Kuleste,  former Minister from Maharashtra Madhukarrao Pichand, Dr. S. M Jharwal, RC Verma, Shankar Lal Bodat, Birsha Tirki, former minister of Jharkhand Gitashree Urao, K C Dhumaria, former minister of Goa Prakash bhai Balip and others meet the president of India and accompanied and take part in discussion.
