ArSLM on mobilization drive to cater the rural youths for providing training and employment in Papum Pare district

ITANAGAR, DEC 8 : The Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission today completed second day of mobilisation drive under Deen Dayal Upadhya Gramin Kaushalya Yojna (DDU-GKY). The camps has been organized to cater the needy youths to provide employment opportunity.

The Mobilisation drive is aimed to provide employment opportunity to the rural youth of the state. DDU-GKY is a placement led skill training initiative of ministry of rural Development (MoRD).

Under DDU-GKY free training in various sectors are provided for rural youth viz asst. electrician, retail and sales associate, mobile repairing, sewing machine operator, etc

Earlier pre-mobilisation drive was conducted by ArSRLM by Kaushal Rath, which was Flagged off  by  Programme Manager Nabam Ompi and  Julia Miyu at ArSRLM office on December 5th. The Kaushal Rath is a vehicle equipped with information regarding DDU-GKY, like  banners and posters and equipped with audio visual messages. Rath was carried out by DDU-GKY official lead by Charu okam and Lapu Don.

The mobilization drive was held in various parts of district which include at Jote and Doimukh on 7th and 8th,  the drive will held at Tarsso and Sopo on 9th and 10th, the drive will be held at Karsingsa and Balijan on 11th and 12th, it will be held on 13th and 14th at Kimin, at Upper Jumi on 15th and 16th respectively. 

Meanwhile the ArSLM officers has appeal the youths and school dropout to grave the opportunity so that they can be skilled and employed and become atma nirbhabar.
