ITANAGAR, AUGUST 22 : A dead body has been found floating in the reservoir of river Pare of NEEPCO dam at Harahapa in Doimukh circle has been retrieved by the Sagalee police. Sources said.
Papum Pare SP Dr. Neelam Nega informed that it was a drowning case of Mepsoro area of Toru circle of Sagalee subdivision wherein a worker working at stone crusher who got drowned few days back and the body was found floating by the locals on Saturday.
The Sagalee police have retrieved the body which was decomposed and necessary formalities have been done as per law. SP Dr. Nega said.
SP Papum Pare Dr.Nega has appeal all section of society to remain alert while moving nearby riverside and even while taking bath and fishing and otherwise or else drowning happened and everyone including the family members, relatives and others has to face lots of inconvenient and trouble in searching of body and in some cases body are not found.
Later the body was identified asSirajuli Ali of Singa Goan of North Lakhimpur district, Assam . The deceased was working as a fockland operator of SHOO construction at Mepsoro.
A preliminary investigation of the incident takes place in Pare river while taking bath.
