Naharlagun, August 23: Capital police arrested 2 females from Naharlagun and seized 354 grams of cannabis from their possession.
Naharlagun police informed in a release, that at 2130 on 22/8/22, information was received from SI S.S Jha regarding sale of ganja in Helipad area of Naharlagun. Accordingly, a raid was conducted during which 354 grams of Suspected cannabis found from the shops of Kirpi Taluk and Banu Rava both have been arrested, it said.
NLG PS Case No-104/22 u/s 20(b)(ii)(A) NDPS Act was registered and endorsed to SI R.K Jha for investigation. The release said.
Interrogation revealed that they had purchased the said cannabis from Tadar Kampung prior to her arrest in c/w NLG PS Case No-82/22 u/s 20 (b)(ii)(A)/27A/29 NDPS Act and were selling it from their shops at Helipad Colony, NLG. The release said.
