ITANAGAR, SEPTEMBER 11 : A Joint inspection team comprise of Nyishi Elite Society (NES) of Upper Subansiri district unit, Nyishi festival council (NFC), central nyokum committee (CNC), central longte committee (CLC) and central boori boot yullo committee (CBBYC) recently visited and inspected the Yumdorijo ground for celebration of three major festival of Nyishi tribe in Upper Subansiri district.
CNC Chairman Tadar Mangku inform that recently we visited the Upper Subansairi district it was successful visited of the Nyishi community leaders. We interacted several community leaders and discussed of various public importance and common development of the area, district and state.
The main purpose was to visit and inspect the place and select and finalize for the purpose of festival celebration and it would serve as a place of coordination and strengthening of relationship among several clan of Nyishi trine. This place would also promote the integrity, communal harmony and brotherhood among the clan of Nyishi and various tribes of the state in general and Upper Subansiri in particular. He said.
Mangku said that this place would facilitate for all the festival of Nyishi tribe/community to be celebrated at the venue which need to be developed into a beautiful festival ground.
Former Minister Talo Mugli said it would be a historic and this place has been visited and inspected today and it would be an important place and the place would be developed into a festival ground and this ground would felicitate the Nyishi people to celebrate several festivals specially the three major festival of Nyishi tribe.
The NES leader Sangha Babung, Chairman CLC inform that the area need to be developed and once development takes place it would one of beautiful place and people specially Nyishi tribes living in the area and district would utilize the infrastructure in best possible way. He also thanks the land donor for the purpose. He assure that the ground will be fully utilized for the purpose of the society. he also thanks the local committee of the area.
The three major festival of Nyishi are Nyokum, Longte and Boori Booth
Several leaders which include CNC Chairman Tadar Mangku, CNC general secretary Nabam Takar, CBBYC Chairman and former Minister Talo Mugli, CBBYC IPR Secretary Remar Gab, CLC Chairman Sangha Babung, NFC additional secretary Akom Gaat Ligu, NES Upper Subansiri district incharge Dr. Gogo Taley, NES Convenor U/S Tatung Tama, ANYA Upper Subansiri district president Tatung Taro also visited and inspect the common festival ground of Nyishi tribe.
