ITANAGAR, JULY 9 ; Arunachal Pradesh state Transport (APST) bound Diyum to Tinsukia on Sunday morning meet with an accident around 1 KM ahead of Dirak check gate in Tinsukia district of Assam and one person has lost his life.
Tinsukia ASP Bivash Das inform that an APST Bus with coming from Dayum to Tinsukia Via Namsai stated to have meet with an accident few KM after passing Dirak Check gate on Sunday morning. May be due to speed the bus has been collided with a small light vehicle (Maruti Super Carry). He said.
“The accident took place on National Highway-15 at Hunjan,Dirak. The accident took place when one APST bus bearding registration no- ARX- 0434 was coming from Namsai over speed and collided with a Maruti Super Carry and went toward roadside after damaging few locals huts and others. both the drivers found grievous injury, the local public send both the drivers to the nearby hospital”. Informed Tinsukia ASP.
He also inform later the drivers of the vehicle (APST) bus succumb to his injury. The Police officer added.
He further inform that all passengers are stated to be safe as per local police officer of the area has informed.
