FIR lodged against “assault” on minor students allegedly by school teacher in Pakke Kessang

Nipjyoti Kalita || NAHARLAGUN, Dec 10: A distressing video circulating on various social media platforms has brought to light a disturbing incident of alleged teacher’s assault on students at Acharyakulam School, Goloso in Seijosa under Pakke Kessang district of Arunachal Pradesh.

In the video, which surfaced on Sunday, few students are seen with marks of bruises as they were reportedly subjected to physical abuse by a teacher as revealed by the victim children. The incident has drawn a wave of concerns and condemnations.

Despite repeated attempts by Arunachal News Live, the school authorities could not be contacted for a statement regarding the incident.

However, confirming the incident, Superintendent of Police, Pakke Kessang district, Tashi Darang, revealed that the parents of the victim students took swift action by filing a First Information Report (FIR) with the police.

The FIR has set in motion a comprehensive investigation into the alleged teacher assault, with SP Darang assuring the public that the police are diligently pursuing the case.

Meanwhile, All Pakke Kessang District Students’ Union (APKDSU) President Nabam Thomas has strongly condemned the incident.

Thomas expressed deep concern for the well-being of the affected children and announced plans to convene meetings with relevant authorities.

He emphasized the urgency of demanding justice for the innocent students, who purportedly fell victim to the alleged teacher’s act.The incident has created a sensation with community members, parents, and citizens concerned calling for transparency, accountability, and swift action against those responsible.
