APSSB faces allegations of exam irregularities in Combined Secondary Level Examination-2023

ITANAGAR, DEC 11 : What we called it as a free and fair examination for recruitment process by any board or commission in transparent manner get obstruction by some wrongful act and there has always been stain of a black spot which never been appreciated by any civil society of state and country on the working style of the APSSB of Arunachal Pradesh this time again.

This time again a issue has been surfaced in social media that a candidate who was appearing for the combined secondary level examination-2023 was caught with question paper while coming back from washroom by the invigilator and it was a violation of the rule. The screen shot of the social media post circulating in whatsaap group is a matter of discussion everywhere as the paper leakage scam of APPSC is yet to be resolved and this issue crop up and being discussed in all platform after the result of the examination has come up and the said candidate name has been surfaces as a passed candidates. 

The social media post said that “ could not confine silence after found horrified CSL result, I saw one of the candidate from my same room no, during the exam day who have been catch with question paper wile coming back from the washroom by the invigilator. Invigilator asked him some question also noted his roll no in the blank paper being violated the rule and said that he will be disqualified for his behaviors. The social media post said.

“ after that I done my paper, I saw that the said man (candidate) seems like doing something dishonesty. I was told by the lady examiner not to worry we had already noted his roll no”. the social media post added.

Meanwhile, an order issued by the Arunachal Pradesh staff selection board (APSSB) Secretary D Verma  that vide order no-APSSB-13/6/2023 dated 11th December 2023 said that “ whereas a factual report has been obtained from the centre superintendent of Government secondary school, P Sector, Itanagar which was a venue for the combined secondary level examination-2023, with reference to social media ‘X’ (twitter) message regarding the combined secondary level examination (CSLE) 2023”. The APSSB secretary said.

“ in view of detail contained in the report, the candidature of candidate bearing roll no- 2035485 is withheld for taking further necessary action on the matter as per  rules/guidelines. The APSSB Secretary D Verma added.

However it is matter of great concern and now what will the state government do to stop such activities and any unfair means in any way by any candidate so that the whole examination process remain in free and fair way and also the commission or board ensure that no any officials and other person are involved in any unfair means or mismanagement or APSSB paper leakage like scam in future.

It is to mention as per information the APSSB has conducted combined secondary level examination (CSLE-2023) in more than 50000 candidates has appeared for recruitment to the post of police constable, fireman, MTS and several other post in various department of state government. The examination was held in 16 district of state and it was held at 200 centres spared across 16 district of state. The examination was held recently on November 26th 2023. 

Voice are coming up that the APSSB should immediately come without wasting any time on the whole episode of CSLE-2023 in media and inform to the general public.
