Labour board chairman Nyato Dukam and former Minister Takam Pario condole the demise of  Lt Tai Yai and Lt Bahadur Sonar

ITANAGAR, MAY 17 ; The Arunachal Pradesh building and other construction workers welfare board (APB&OWWB) Chairman and Taliha MLA Nyato Dukam along with team of leaders of labour union led by AAPLU President Dana Tadu and other visited the resident of Late Tai Yai who died in a massive landslide triggered by heavy rain on Ganga-Jullang road on Monday.

Dukam and others meet the family members of the Late Yai and condole the untimely demise and pray for eternal peace of departed souls in heavenly abode.

The labour board Chairman informed that Late Yai was the only single working mother in the family, a critical testing time for the family. The Chief Minister Pema Khandu has already announced the ex-gratia and would be delivered to the legal family members after proper formalities. We will also see that whatever help and support could be made to her and one Lt Bahadur Sonar who also lost his life in the said tragic accident. Dokum said.

The labour board chairman also extended some financial support to the family.

AAPLU President Dana Tadu while consoling the tragic death of two workers in the landslide on Ganga-Jullang road was a very unfortunate incident. He said that Lt Tai Yai and Lt Bahadur Sonar casual Labour’s PWD Division CD ‘B’.

In a condolence message, the AAPLU President Dana Tadu said that the union deeply mourned the sad demise of 2 (Two) precious lives due to Natural calamity on the fateful day on 16th May ,2022. The AAPLU  Executive Members also visited her victim’s residence at Dokum colony Itanagar and met the family members. The AAPLU pray to the almighty for rest of the departed soul in peace at heaven and gives immense courage to the family members of the victim to bear this irreparable loss of their near and dear one.

Meanwhile, the AAPLU has appealed to the state government led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu who is also the minister incharge of PWD to provide a job to the next of kin of the family members of the decease who died in the line of duty in the capital complex even on holiday.

The team also visited the RKM Hospital and met the injured person.

Former Minister Takam Pario also visited the Dolum colony resident of Late Tai Yai and paid respect to the departed soul and prayed for eternal peace in heavenly abode. Pario also consoles the family members to remain strong during the hours of crisis.

The last rites of both deceased were performed and hundreds of family members, well-wishers, relatives and locals attended at Dokum colony Itanagar and at Gohpur in Assam.
