SANGDUPOTA, NOV 7 : The Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament on Tuesday has inaugurated the newly constructed the community hall constructed under the MPLADS at Gungu-Khamir panchayat under Sangdupota circle of 14th Doimukh assembly constituency in Papum Pare district in presence of several local leaders and Papum Pare DC and PWD engineers.
Inaugurating the community hall, the MP Rebia said that the community hall was one of the important demand of the people of the area and I have sanctioned it and it is happy to know that they have completed the same within very short period and its beautifully constructed and having the provision for extension so that in case it may be extend in future. He said.
Rs. Fifty lakhs was sanctioned for the same from my MPLADS and I congratulate the people of the Gungu-Khamir panchayat and requested them to protect and preserve so that the property last long. Said Rebia.
It is a matter of concern that the flora and fauna need to protect and I have interacted the people and have requested them to plant more trees and plants. At the same time the parents have been requested to take care of children’s so that they become a fine gentleman and serve the society and become part of the state and nation development. The need of hour is that our children’s become a good human being and also able to speak our own language and understand our beautiful traditional value and rich cultural heritage. Said Rebia.
A memorandum was submitted by the locals and I will take care of the request made by them which include repairing and maintenance of the hanging bridge, consecution of high mass light, A proposal has been send to SJETA Ministry and incase it is approved the property will be extended and a gallery may also be construed form the same fund.
Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Cheechung Chukhu attended the function as guest of honour, Doimukh PWD Division Executive Engineer Techi Ramda was special guest on the occasion who also address the occasion.
Gungu-Khamir GPC Techi Nyajung Tara also address the gathering.
BJP Spokesperson Nabam Vivek, public leader Gollo Talo, leader of BJP, villagers of various village of the area, local official and PRI leaders among other were present on the occasion.
