NES General Secretary Heri Maring emphasis strengthening of aged old cultural relationship with Assam-Arunachal Pradesh for unity, integrity, communal harmony and brotherhood.

LEDU, DEC 27 : The Nyishi Elite Society (NES) General secretary Heri Maring on Wednesday has emphasis the strengthening of aged old cultural relationship between people living in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh for unity, integrity, communal harmony and brotherhood and prosperity among the people of the North East region of the country.

Maring was addressing the 107th foundation day of Asam Sahitya Sabha (ASS) at Ledu in Tinsukia district of Assam as guest of honour wherein the ASS President Padmshri Dr. Surjya Kanta Hazarika was chief guest with host of other dignitaries form Assam and Arunahcal Pradesh.  The two day function which began on Tuesday and culminated on Wednesday with several programme of literary activities including book release, discussion and debates on various issues. Cultural presentation on various tribes of Assam was also centre of attraction which pulled the huge crown on both day. 

Maring on Wednesday take part in flag hosting ceremony and paid floral tribute to those leaders of ASS and also to those who passed away who has worked for the promotion of culture, literature and others. 

Giving a clarion call on the occasion, the NES general secretary Mari has exhorted the people of Assam to act as a big brother and give love and give respect to all the neighbours and younger so that the respect and regard is always by all the neighbours as well as younger’s. we always treat the Assam as the big brother of North East and there is always an expectation of people from the Assam side and whatever support and cooperation required form Arunachal Pradesh will be fully given. He said.

Referring several examples of relationship and bonding between the People of Assam with Arunahcal Pradesh like of Techi Gamni the queen of Ahom King form Arunachal Pradesh, establishment of Itafort at Itanagar,  the NES general secretary said that no political boundary and imaginary boundary can stop us to unite us but it should began form the elder brother and we will always remain strong with elder for a strong relationship for peace, progress, prosperity, communal harmony and development of state and region. He also termed Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika as cultural ambassador of state in general and Nyishi community in particular and remember his association with several songs and films on state which will always there and a symbol of culture and tradition for everyone to remember and unite for a prosperous and developed NE region.  He said.

The Dafla name given to Nyishi by outsiders does not exist in any way and it has been even modified by the constitution of India so we being Nyishi always lead ahead with all our 26 major tribes and more than 100 sub tribes of state for united Arunachal Pradesh. Therefore Assam being the big brother let guide us in right direction for a peaceful and prosperous and developed state and let us join hands for a strong bonding of brotherhood for developed NE region Added Heri Maring NES Generals secretary.
