ITANAGAR, AUG 28 : The Union Minister for Earth science, Government of India Kiren Rijiju on Monday while participating in the Rozgar Mela here at ITBP North East frontier headquarter has distributed appointment letter to the selected candidates for appointment to the central security forces.
The distribution of appointment letters were made at a glittering held here at ITBP frontier headquarter at Khating hill where selected candidates, family members and other eminent personalities of state were present on the occasion. An interaction programme was also held wherein several senior officers of ITBP and others interacted the selected personnel as how to get training, go to different place fo posting and serve the people and motherland in various capacity in uniform.
Addressing the function, the Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the Pradhanmiantri Rozgar Mela Abhiyan-8 organized on 28.08.2023 at North East Frontier Headquarters, Indo Tibetan Border Police Force Itangar is a happy occasion and we need to celebrate the day. He said.
The appointments are being made by the Government of India and so far 45 such Rozgar Mela venues are being organized in whole India by various departments and ITBP organized at 6 venues, In which Itanagar is one of them. Earlier the ITBP Headquarter was at Shillong and after shifting to Itanagar our youths get more opportunity at the door step to know about various opportunities as how to join the Indian army and security forces. He said.
Total 51000 selected candidates across India has been given away with the appointment letters, These appointments are being made in almost all departments and ministries across the Country,
A total of 454 successful candidates were given appointment letters in which 180 candidates were physically present and 274 candidates were present online, out of which ITBP 399, 32 from Assam Rifles, 5 from CRPF and 18 from SSB were provided with appointment letters.
The Union Minister further motivated the youth to serve the country with a dedicated spirit and maintain good health and also help the younger generation to join the security forces with a commitment to serve the motherland and its people.
