ITANAGAR, JUNE 6 : The special investigation cell vigilance (SIC) of Arunachal Pradesh police will investigate into the matter of illegal appointment of primary teachers of Longding district and others, informed Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
Khandu was speaking to reporters at the sidelines of the public rally at IG Park on Tuesday afternoon that the state government has decided to hand over the case of illegal primary teachers appointment case for investigation to SIC, a report was sought from education department which has received and I have seen which need investigation and has decided to hand over for investigation by SIC. Said CM Khandu.
The recent incident of illegal teachers in Longing district and only departmental enquiry may not limited. The report submitted by Education minister need to investigate the criminal aspect as it seems signature might have forged and I feel sense that few persons might have been involved and the criminal angel will be investigated by the SIC. He said.
Due to few government officers the government is being blamed. Government always try to fulfill the aspiration of the people and in this case no one will be speared. Said Khandu.
Education minister has allergy send direction for submission of also the list of teachers across the state and on Wednesday I will have a meeting with all the DCs and will also discuss the matter. He said.
We will bring to justice if any clues find form other parts of state. Obiously the issue was brought to assembly earlier and department has also punished those. But in this case they are of investigation has been increased and the SIC will investigate the matter. He said.
Referring to regularization of teachers, the chief minister informed that in a promise for regularization of teachers was made and work was in progress. More than 400-500 teachers has been regularized in phase manner. In 2020 292 PRT were regularized under ISSE scheme through DPC and 2021-53 TGT were regularized under ISSE and in session 2022 200 TGT and 200 PRT has been regularized and around 200 PRT and 29 TGT has been proposed for regularization in 2023 season. He said.
The teachers under SSA recruitment has been stopped and if appointment are being taken that after proper vacancy. Added CM Pema Khandu.
