ITANAGAR, Sep. 7: On the occasion of 250 Birth anniversary of Raja ram Mohan Roy an awareness rally on theme women empowerment was organized by department of Public library, Itanagar today at state central library, Itanagar.
Speaking on the occasion Mabi Taipodia Jini , Member secretary Women Commission, Arunachal Pradesh advice the student to study hard to become a educated women and self economic empowerment and when we economically empowered than women will be empowered.
Informing about various types of misbehaver or crime against gild child and women she advice don’t remain silence on crime against women if someone do misbehave or bad touch they should informed their parents, relatives and police. And don’t afraid to speak on own right.
Today we had organized a rally awareness on theme women empowerment on the occasion of 250 Birth anniversary Raja ram Mohan Roy with motives to remember him and his activities for the welfare and protection of women and also contribution for nation so that our young generation know him and his contribution, said BL Lal , Junior Librarian, Itanagar .
During rally around 300 student participated from various schools from capital Complex, Itanagar. And they marched in F Sector and Ganga Market areas. The students holding placards, banners, cutout for mass awareness among the society.
