Tedir emphasis for protection and preservation of heritages for promotion of tourism and devp of state

ITANAGAR, JAN 12 : The Minister for education, DIA and cultural affairs Taba Tedir on Thursday while flagged off Malini heritage walk and Malini mela has emphasis for protection and preservation of heritage sites and centre’s of state for promotion of tourism and development of state.
Tedir on Thursday while participating the inaugural ceremony of Malini mela at Likabali in Lower Siang district has called upon the people of state for protection and preservation of heritage sites which has deep rooted with the ancient history. These centre will not only promote tourism but also provide self employment to thousands of people as well support economic development. He said.
He observed that “the malini heritage walk by hundreds of students with an initative toward conservationists and preservation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage present in Arunachal Pradesh and its importance thereof” Said Minister Tedir.

The mela which has been inaugurated today which is celebrated annually will bring lots of happiness, joy as it has lots of significant history attached with the people and state. He said.

He also thanks the Chief Minister Pema Khandu and central government for providing financial assistance for research and documentations and development of heritage site and other amenities in the campus.
He stressed such celebration and functions with participation of all including cross border and people from neighboring state will promote cross border cultural exchange for peaceful co-existence, communal harmony and brotherhood for all round development of state and region. Added Education and cultural affairs Minister Taba Tedir.

Among others Likabali MLA Kardo Nyigyor, Nari-Koyu MLA Kento Rina, heads of department of district, PRI leaders, social and public leaders of the area and large numbers of public locals people were present.
