ADOs aspirants demanded declaration of ADO-2020-21 examination null and void

ITANAGAR, Dec 07: The aggrieved candidates of Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) demanded the state government for immediate declaration of ADO 2020 – 2021 examinations as null & void and to initiate through investigation of ADO 2017 examination.

Addressing media persons here at Arunachal Press Club (APC) on Wednesday, Moni Bitin (candidate) said that on 9 November last Special Investigation Cell (SIC) received an FIR and arrested two ADO officers involved in the cash for job scam. It is evidence from the arrest of two ADO officers that paper was leaked which was conducted on 11 – 13 may 2022 by Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC),  it is a crystal clear that there was lots of anomaly and therefore the examination should be cancelled immediately.  added Bitin.

“Therefore, we ADO aspirant candidates strongly demand the state government to declare the same examinations as null & void and entirely reconduct the examinations,” said Bitin.

The aggrieved candidates further said that they would not keep mum on the paper leakage issue of ADO rather they will fight tooth to nail for the interest of the younger generation. Said another aspirant Jidam Riamuk.

After witnessing arrest of  topper of Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) in connection with the APPSCCE question paper leakage case, then why state government has failed to declare the same examination as null & void, questioned aggrieved candidates.

Appreciating SIC for taking up the ADO case on priority basis, they further affirmed that there are many more names to be revealed in due course of time.

He claimed that some Community Based Organization (CBOs) are trying in shielding the accused by pressurizing the Chief Minister. We the aspirants want to caution those CBOs not to indulge in such activities, if needed we will disclose their names, 

He also questioned the investigating agencies for not arresting senior officers and officials and governing body members and chairman as all the cash-for-job scandal was held under their nose so the SIC/ SBI should not be confined to countable people only, the aspirants added.
