Refrain from rumours, strengthen party activities: Libang to BJP karyakartas

TUTING, Dec 27: Arunachal Pradesh Health & Family Welfare, Social Welfare, Women & Child Development, Social Justice, Empowerment & Tribal Affairs Minister Alo Libang  urged the party karyakartas to refrain from any kind of rumours and strengthen the party activities at the grassroots level and maintain unity among them.

Minister Libang made the appeal to the party karyakartas while addressing a programme organized to mark the Good Governance Day at the BJP Mandal office in Tuting under Upper Siang district on Sunday.

The Good Governance Day was observed to mark the 98th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The programme began with paying of floral tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Libang said, “Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and CM Pema Khandu, the governments both at the Centre and State are working tirelessly towards the welfare of the poor and the farmers.”

He also highlighted the developmental schemes implemented in Arunachal Pradesh and their achievement.

He said, “CM Khandu is the best performing Chief Minister of India, who is working very hard for the all-round development of the State.”

While highlighting the developmental activities in the Tuting Yingkiong Assembly constituency he said his constituency is one of the largest and most challenging constituencies in the State in spite of which he is trying his best for the all-around development of the area.

State BJP vice-president Tarh Tarak also highlighted the life and mission of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

He said Vajpayee made innumerable important contributions that paved the way for a stronger economy through bold reforms and rapid development of infrastructure in India.

He also said during the Congress regime the schemes and policies were mostly on paper. But the present government is implementing policies and programmes at the ground level.

“The secret of the success is the Prime Minister’s mantra of Sab ka Sath, Sab ka Vikas, Sab ka Prayas, Growth for all,” he further added.

Tarak asserted, “BJP is committed to the principles of ‘Antyodaya’ and believes that development of the entire nation lies in the upliftment of the last man in the society.”

While appreciating the Pema Khandu-led government in the State, he said, “The Pema Khandu government will be in power for consecutive 20 years in the State.”

State BJP spokesperson Techi Necha also highlighted the significance of good governance and the achievements of the governments led by Narendra Modi and Pema Khandu.

While appreciating the current State government, he said, “The Pema Khandu-led government is a transformed, reformed, and performing government.”

The programme was also attended by BJP convener, Library, Porchu Tamin, BJP co-convener, media department, Nima Sange, Upper Siang BJP general secretary Ojing Peyang and other BJP leaders and panchayat leaders, and all party karyakartas.

Upper Siang BJP GS Ojing Peyang, Mandal president Onyo Danggen, State president of Kisan Morcha Dungolle Libang, GS Tuting Mandal, Kilok Tedo, and others also spoke on the occasion.

The dignitaries also listened to the Mann Ki Baat of PM Narendra Modi.

A mass joining programme was also organized at the Tuting BJP Mandal office where prominent political leaders including former ZPM, Tuting and former State GS of NPP, Moko Umbrey, and former Upper Siang district president of NPP Pema Nyisur and others joined the BJP in the presence of Minister Alo Libang, State BJP VP Tarh Tarak, State BJP spokesperson Techi Necha, State BJP (Library) convener Porchu Tamin and other BJP leaders and panchayat leaders and a host of karyakartas.

Minister Libang, who is also the MLA of 34-Tuting-Yingkiong Assembly constituency, welcomed and appreciated the new leaders who joined the BJP.
